I AM THAT GIRL: Boston College aims to provide a support network for women in the Boston College community, enhance personal and professional development, and equip members with the skills and self-confidence necessary to make a difference in this world.

"Being THAT GIRL is an identity, a responsibility, and an opportunity for us to stand for something bigger than ourselves and to lift each other up. Being THAT GIRL means that we recognize our worth, that we’re perfectly flawed and sublimely beauty-full. Every time we look in the mirror, we are reminded that we are the author of our own lives, that we believe in the power of our dreams, feel gorgeous inside and out and we reinvent ourselves in to whoever we choose to be. While we’re certainly out to change the world, we must first start with ourselves."

TO WRITE LOVE ON HER ARMS

TWLOHA-BC is affiliated with TWLOHA, Inc., a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with addiction, depression, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA, Inc. exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and invest directly into treatment and recovery. TWLOHA University Chapters is a network of student organizations on college and university campuses that exist to embody the mission and vision of To Write Love on Her Arms.

Through organized meetings and events, our chapter will serve as a voice of hope, inspiration, and support for students and their surrounding communities by sharing knowledge about mental health. We are passionate about building a community of honesty and hope to combat the stigma surrounding it.

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS

The Random Acts of Kindness Club is a group dedicated to serving the Boston College and greater Boston communities through small, spontaneous gestures of gratitude, support, and love. This club follows the "paying it forward" mentality, believing that simple acts of kindness can go a long way.
