ACTIVE MINDS
Our chapter of the national organization, Active Minds, Inc., works to change the conversation about mental health at Boston University. We aim to increase the awareness of mental health issues and symptoms, while reducing the stigma that surrounds mental health and to create an open environment for discussion. We also provide information on available resources, encourage students to seek help, and serve as a liaison between students and the mental health community.
Our meetings are open to all students, faculty, and community members, and we invite anyone and everyone to join our cause.

NUTRITION CLUB
Whether you are a nutrition student or someone who just enjoys food, the Boston University Nutrition Club is an organization that can offer a community of students who share your interests. We host cooking meetings, in which members come together to create and enjoy delicious and healthy recipes together. Fitness workshops are coordinated to teach members the physical aspect of healthy living.
Guest speakers are invited to lecture about healthy eating, fitness education, and eating disorder awareness.

BU ZEN
The BU Zen Community is a group of students who meet regularly to practice sitting meditation, investigate our lives, and engage the present moment. We meet in the basement of Marsh Chapel on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm. Each meeting begins with: Soen-Yu (Zen Yoga), Sitting meditation (za-zen), Chanting, Dharma readings, talks by guest speakers. Each meeting concludes with a social meet-and-greet, complete with tea and cookies! All levels of experience are welcome; beginner's mind preferred!
